Cache: 2020 Art Zine
At the most uncertain and confusing points in my life, I made zines – I did this when I graduated high school, in the middle of reviewing for the board exams, when I landed my first job. Maybe it’s as huge as me fulfilling a childhood dream of being in publishing.
I like to write even if I’m not good at it – be it in journals or my most beloved notes app – because words have always given me the inspiration and comfort I need.
Here’s my 2020 personal project: CACHE.
An art zine out of my year in isolation, an ode to things I want both cleared and saved. I drew when I felt like it; I wrote when the words came. I let myself create again when I wanted to and not when I needed to. I hope you enjoy flipping through the cache in my head.
