An ode to 2019 & a very late LU visual diary

I wrote a short year-end thing for 2019.

It’s been posted for quite some time on my Instagram but really, I first wrote it here. Left to rot away, again, in my drafts. While the first month of 2020 has been cruel – personally, and sadly, to the world – I want to believe we can start over. At any time we choose to.

Reposting this as a reminder that not all days are meant to be good, but you can always choose where to go from there.

“La Union visual diary and a little note from the road (and 2019)

Since I got home more than a week ago, today’s the first actual day I’m staying “at home” aka the I-refuse-to-go-out-I-have-no-more-battery day. An “in-between” day. I had a lot of these days this year. But behind each of those are legit happy days. Days I want to remember with people and friends I love the most.

This year was mediocre, but it also means it was enough. Probably more than it should be!”
